My Reflection
Since we are born, we start a learning process, and the very first thing we learn, is speaking. Learning a language includes many factors, they can be socioeconomic, religion, ethnic, age and also genre. Dialects are rule by these factors as well. Without realizing everybody is affected by them. Learning about dialects let us know, how our environment of our surrounding affected our way to express ourselves. As well as teach us why there are differences in other societies.
There are 20 countries all over the world that speak Spanish and 67 nations that speak English. For sure we can say that each of those nations have their own speak and even more impressive, inside those nations we can also say there are tons of dialects spoken in each area. Dialects are the very own way to show ourselves to other region. The differences can vary from phonological differences to syntactic ones in the same area.
Human are unique and the way that each person in this world speak is unique as well. Dialects are part of our identity, region, behavior and part of us. Speaker´s idiolect is one more feature of human kind. During this process I learned the roots and nature of all this characteristic, and how they affects us.
Dialects are an important part of human development because they connect us to our origin and even thought if we speak in a different way that our parents do our friends from other regions do, dialects teach us how unique we are but we can be understood by others.
